From breakdowns to breakthroughs

June 29, 2021

Much of our advisory work includes some measure of helping clients understand, analyze, define and transform their organizational culture.

We have implemented various methods to help companies in this respect, including through workshops, role play, improvisation, focus groups and free-form discussion.  Each company has its story—including highs, lows, breakthroughs and breakdowns.

The review of organizational culture often takes place after an event that is perceived as a failure by stakeholders.  While it is important to examine the root cause, it is also important to not be trapped into thinking that a company’s culture or story cannot be changed for the better.

Looking forward to define the culture that the company wants to create is just as important as understanding its past.

What is the culture that you want to create?

How can you transform a company’s breakdowns into breakthroughs?

Culture is really in the little things. It’s not the communication campaigns or the slogans. It’s how people interact and treat each other.
